Episode One - Pilot

When a killer starts chopping up teenagers and freezing their bodies in big ol’ blocks

of ice, Grimsburg P.D. Lt. John Kang drags brilliant burnout Det. Marvin Flute back

to his hometown to solve the case.  Flute links up with his new cyborg partner Det.

Greg Summers, and they realize one of the killer’s victims is still alive.  It’s a race

against time!  But Flute is also eager to reconnect with his hot reporter ex-wife

Harmony Flute -- even if that means taking his son Stan, whose name Flute can

almost always remember, to the Father-Son Dance at school.  After chasing down

various leads, Flute and Summers seek the help of Flute’s sadistic former Middle

School teacher Dr. Rufis Pentos, who gives them an enigmatic clue that may crack

open the entire case.  Flute finally realizes that the Police Chief’s own daughter

(son?) committed the crimes as a means of gaining a shot at becoming a detective.

And while Flute failed to show up for Stan’s dance, he makes it up to his son with

a sweet gesture -- and now Flute might have a shot to win back Harmony after all.

We’ll see.

Episode Two

Now living in Harmony’s basement -- but not permitted to set foot in the house itself --

Flute wants a chance to prove to Harmony he’s not the same crime-obsessed lunatic

he was the last five times they broke up.  When he hears Harmony is going to be a

judge of Grimsburg’s annual Talent Show, Flute arranges for himself to be a judge

along with her.  Things get complicated when Flute hunts down a killer of past years’

Talent Show winners, and he has to drag the killer along with him to the Talent Show...

and keep the killer’s identity a secret.  Meanwhile, Stan wants to perform a song to get his parents back together, but his imaginary friend Mr. Flesh tries to convince Stan what a dumb idea that is.  Stan unexpectedly wins the Talent Show… and then the killer abducts him!  Harmony is furious at Flute for once again bringing his work into their family life, and together they race to hunt for the killer -- which would go fine, except that Flute has also                      taken a special pill to shut off his cop brain.  Harmony is forced to tap into her own                       cop instincts to catch the killer, and they save Stan at the last second. Later, Harmony

still won’t let Flute stay inside the house, but at least she’ll let him use the bathroom.                  Once.  Once is enough.
