WELCOME TO GRIMSBURG

​

Marvin Flute may be the greatest detective ever to catch a cannibal clown or correctly identify

a Mid-Century Modern armoire.  But there’s one mystery he still can’t crack — his family.  

 

Now that he's back in Grimsburg, a town cursed by a mass virgin sacrifice in 1888, Flute will

follow every lead he’s got to redeem himself with the ex-wife, Harmony, he never stopped

loving, even if it means hanging out with his weirdo son, Stan, who has an imaginary best

friend that is a skeleton with flames for eyes.

 

Flute also has to deal with this town’s crazy cast of characters: Summers, his painfully-optimistic cyborg partner; Lt. Kang, his surly supervisor; Chief Stamos, the part-sasquatch head of Grimsburg PD; Mayor Dilquist, the faux-spiritualist mayor of this bizarre town; Wynona, the Medical Examiner who’s always a bit too horny; and Dr. Pentos, Flute’s nemesis who pulls all the strings in Grimsburg while teaching every subject at the Middle School.

 

 It’s a strange town cut off from the rest of the world -- like a landline plugged into a potato -- where

 curses, monkey paws, and father-son dances exist.

 But it’s Flute’s town.
